Mid-Coast Maine Waterfront Vacation Rental

Midcoast Maine RentalOur cottage in the idyllic Five Islands area of Georgetown provides a classic Maine experience, complete with lobster pots in the cove and kayaks on our dock. Our vacation rental is a cozy three bedroom, two story gambrel style cottage with sleeping for up to seven people: four adults and three children. We're on five wooded acres with a good size yard for lawn games, 200 feet of waterfront, a dock, float, and mooring. Some guests have said that "it's like sleeping on a boat with more comfortable beds." 

This waterfront cottage is available Memorial Day through Columbus Day. The prices range from $750/wk to $1400/wk. We've been renting our mid-coast Maine vacation rental since 1999. Each year we spend time maintaining, upgrading, and replenishing our waterfront vacation home so that it is always in excellent shape for guests (and for us)! This is one of the most sought after coves in all of Georgetown for it's protected water, deep water dock, and mooring-perfect for boaters.

Close to the sandy beaches of Reid State Park, we include the State Park Pass for your convenience, as well as the town sticker for launching your trailer-able boat, or skiff at the ramp in Robinhood Cove or on the Kennebec River. You can "park" your boat right at our float & dock which has six feet of water at low tide, or for larger vessels, we have a super mooring in the calm cove on the Little Sheepscot River, right across from the summer colony, MacMahan Island.

About Georgetown Maine

Georgetown Maine is in the mid-coast area of Maine, just 20 minutes from historic Bath. Georgetown is home to one of Maine's finest beaches at Reid State Park. The village at the end of the island (connected by bridges) is known as Five Islands and the harbor has been named "the prettiest harbor in Maine." Georgetown is home to a vibrant fishing community with a few wonderful shops lining the main route into town between the pine trees, including Georgetown Pottery, Maine Sweets, Five Islands Farm, and the Georgetown Country Store. The Five Islands wharf is home to the lobster co-op and Five Islands Lobster; it's there that you can pick up fresh from the sea boiled lobster, fried clams, or my favorite: the Jenny Special (haddock/crab sandwich), and Annabelle's hand made ice cream. Georgetown is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise with the Josephine Neuman Sanctuary, hiking trails, protected coves, and boat launches.
