G11, "Coconut Cottage" is perfect for those who want to be at the beach but also want to be able to walk out the back door to a garden area and their own barbecue. This lower cottage makes the beach affordable, and puts guests in a place with the comforts of home inclcuding Free Wireless internet, cable TV, fireplace, and an iPod docking station.

When you check in through the gated community, you'll enjoy the short walk via the tropically landscaped grounds to the cottage (garage parking is assigned for one car) and upon opening the front door, you'll know you are on vacation. The cottage feels like a classic beach bungalow and you won't be sure if you are in north San Diego county, the Caribbean, or Hawaii! When you aren't at the beach in beautiful Oceanside, you'll be able to enjoy the comfortable queen bed, be cooled by the three new ceiling fans, cook on the back yard gas grill, enjoy the new flat screed HDTV, just stare at the newly scraped and painted ceiling, or cook in the fully appointed kitchen with granite tile.

We've made the place as fully equipped and comfortable as possible so all you need to bring is your swimsuit and sunscreen. This condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people (our association strictly enforces occupancy) on a queen bed in the master bedroom and a full sized futon in the over-sized great room. It's perfect for a single corporate guest to nearby Genentech or Camp Pendleton, for a couple looking for a beach getaway, seniors looking for a seasonal stay, and a family who wants to play with the kids at the beach for the first time - in short - anyone!

This vacation rental has a private garden patio location and is well screened from the road and train tracks across the street, but you will of course have some noise from those. There is a waterfall that screens road noise (it's the road that passes through over the bridge to the harbor), and great landscaping to screen the visuals. The bedroom is on the side opposite the street. It is rare that anyone has trouble, but very light sleepers may find something further from the back to be more suitable.

  We had a great time, the rental suited our needs, had all amenities we wanted. Despite being Dec the pool was warm enough to swim outdoors, which was a plus. THe condo came with all the linens, dishes, and supplies we needed. The complex is reasonably well maintained, quiet, with pleasant guests there for a quiet stay, no loud parties or other problems. The beach was beautiful. Overall everything was great.

  "The Perfect Stay. The check-in was quick and easy. The actual home was the perfect size for us. It was nice to have the futon be away from the living area. The master bedroom had enough room for the playpen which was nice. The only inconvenience of the layout was that you had to go into the master bedroom to use the washroom. It was definitely a bonus to have the laundry right in the unit....We came to the conclusion that the location of this condo was the BEST in the whole village! Since we had a 2 year old who napped in the afternoon - we could enjoy the peaceful, sunny back yard with a fountain and a perfect place to lie out and enjoy the sun with a late lunch We appreciated the privacy of our spot and it seamed effortless to walk to the ocean. We didn't find the proximity to the road a hindrance at all. We decided that if/when we return, Oceanside and EXACTLY this condo is where we'd stay again FOR SURE! We loved it. The lawn chair, sand toys and boogie boards were a bonus too .

  Extremely comfortable little cottage! We had an absolutely fabulous time here in Oceanside! After staying hear for a week at the North Coast Village, it was extremely hard to leave. Everything was cozy & the location is perfect. The only thing the condo needs is a vinyl shower curtain. It was a little annoying everytime we took a shower, the bathroom floor got soaked. Other than that, we will definitely be booking another California vacation with Better Vacation Rentals!! Excellent family vacation!!!!

  Location, Location, Location; As you can see I'm all about location. Even though we were at the back of the complex and could hear the train go by at night, the location of the complex being by the beach and the good deal we got on the room outweighed the train noise. Also and door between the bathroom area and bedroom would be nice.(should'nt be that hard to do. The doorway is already seems about the right size.
